Engagement sessions are some of my favorite sessions to shoot. Here in St Louis, we have SO. MANY. AWESOME. LOCATIONS for photos in the city and surrounding areas. From Tower Grove and Forest Parks to the Butterfly House in Chesterfield. From the beautiful urban areas downtown to downtown Kirkwood and St Charles. There is no shortage of places to create and an engagement session gives us a chance to really explore and use the time we wouldn’t usually get to have on your wedding day to make art that really reflects who you are as a couple.
Because let’s face it, we don’t always have an extra hour to go rock photos at your favorite local brewery where you guys spend a lot of time on the wedding day – no matter how welcome a beer would be in the middle of the festivities. (although if you got time, I totally got time.)

Other options that are super cool include getting custom stamps made! Instead of waiting for your local post office to get more forever heart stamps in you can use your engagment images to make your own forever love stamps ( really go check out stamps dot com)
We’re always really fond of creating wall art out of your engagement images. Nothing helps you keep the fire burning like putting your most joyous images on the wall so you walk in the love you have for each other every day.
STD’s the most unfortunate abbreviation ever
Probably the most popular way to use engagement sessions are for Save the Dates! Which are a TON of fun. They are an extra simple way to inject your personalities on your wedding, and your guests wedding experience!
You can get as fancy as you want with your save the dates, multiple folds, cool foil lined envelopes, foil pressed cards, custom ornament cards, the sky is the limit.
