I'm way too awesome for a single about me page, but we can try right?
Finding the right person to spend forever with tends to feel like the easy part once you’ve started to plan a wedding. I get that, and I want to make it as easy as I can to help you decide if I am the right fit for you.
I’m fly jeans and twitter.
I'm social justice and social media.
I’m pixie sticks and Bissingers.
I’m Chuck Taylors and Red Bottoms.
I’m Nerf guns and 2-D fighter video games.
I’m Haagen-Dazs and home made cookies.
I’m old school hip hop and 80’s hair/rock bands. (Poison, anyone?)
I’m graffiti walls and fields of wild flowers.
I’m mohawks and up dos with the pretty little wispy strands.
We’re a black-owned business and especially love creating for BIPOC weddings, LGBTQ* weddings, and our allies!
My family and friends have my heart. Our moments and memories together are my favorite.
My husband and I travel to as many places as our schedules will allow, and I cherish learning about culture and food.
Fresh flowers are beautiful at weddings and in everyday life. They're the way to my heart.
As a professional wedding photographer, the anticipation of getting ready times are simply my favorite.
I’ve been a “creative” all my life. And hard to categorize for just as long. Painting, poetry, cooking; anything that makes people happy I love to be involved in. My dad gave me a camera when I was 12 and started me on my own affair with photography that has spanned over 20 years. I shot my first wedding in 1990, and have been on this path ever since.
For me, it’s all about storytelling and having the.best.time. Whether in a portrait session or on a wedding day, there is a story unfolding — and I love to find it, capture it, and give it back to you to enjoy and relive over and over again.
I’m supposed to tell you how much I love caramel macchiatos and romantic comedies, but I figure that can wait until we meet in person. I’ll forgo the traditional “I am passionate about photography” speech mmm’kay? But I will tell you I am very passionate about progress and making the world the one I want for my kids. I am excited to celebrate your love in that.
Troy is the heart of the operation. Hes the head of our video team and the life of any gathering. We're doin branding photos soon so you will see his face and not just these converse.
Troy retired from the Army a few years ago and decided to peruse his dream of being a outstanding photographer and videographer. He and Raquita met and they became fast friends and even faster colleagues.
"Troy is truly the best friend I could ask for in business. I count myself so lucky that we are on this journey together. The only people more lucky than me in this are our couples. Hes an amazing artist and an amazing person. We would not be where we are with out him (and his beautiful wife Nicole)
Is the best decision I ever made, and that weddings chose me is the best part of this journey. We walk with people on their best day and create the memories that will carry them through life together. There is no better career than that. I will always be in the wedding industry and I can't imagine I will ever put these cameras down
