You already know this. What nobody mentions is the after, when the flowers are gone, the playlist is over, and you're left with a gallery that's technically pretty and somehow doesn't feel like your day.
I help you stay present while it's happening. Then I hand you an album with your whole story, in order, with your people in it.
That means I'm there in the morning before the stress kicks in, cracking jokes while someone's mother irons something that didn't need ironing. I catch the whole arc, so your gallery tells the full story of what happened.
I'm not hiding in the bushes.
I'm definitely not standing quiet on the edge of your wedding party hoping nobody notices me.
I'm not forcing you into weird poses that make the whole room uncomfortable.
I'm not spending fifteen minutes on one photo while your guests wonder where the open bar went.
Something nobody warns you about when you're picking a photographer: a lot of the biggest names have stepped back. They book you, then send an associate team you've never met.
I'm the lead photographer on every wedding I book. Eighteen years in, still shooting, still present, still the one leading you through your own day.
One of my couples put it better than I ever could:
"She was our wedding doula! She just keeps you feeling grounded in the moment."
Monique & Nigel
(That's not a tagline I wrote. That's what she said. I just liked it enough to keep saying it back.)
Her photos perfectly captured everything, and looking through the album transports us right back to the day. If you're lucky enough to book her, you won't be disappointed.
Aimee, Pinxit Bride
We had no idea our wedding photographer would be with us at every moment of the day, not just as a photographer. She was there like a dear friend, lacing my dress, cutting the cake, and when it came time, cutting a rug with us too.
Ellicia & Kevin
We wanted pictures of us, our interactions, our love, our laughter, not just pretty smiles. Raquita really got to know us and captured the heart of who we are as a couple.

Chat & Meet
While you plan
You get your gallery plus a rough draft of your album. Then you guide me to the final version that tells your story the way you lived it.
Fill out the form below. I usually reply within the day with a personal email and a welcome guide with pricing and videos (check your spam folder, it likes to hide there).
I check the calendar ASAP and let you know if your date is open.
If it feels like a fit, we hop on a phone call, then you come see me at the studio so we can really talk. The longer the chat, the better. Out of state? We'll video call. A contract and your portal lock in the date.
I'm hands on. I check in by email every other week, we talk a lot, and I'm easy to reach. I actually like my couples, so this part is fun for me.
